The Equator is a location in the series Kiff. It is the line dividing Earth into the Northern and Southern hemispheres.

Background

The Equator is an imaginary line located at 0 degrees latitude which divides Earth into the Northern and Southern hemispheres, similarly to its real-life equivalent.

It is associated with Halfway There Day and its patron Centaur Claus, much like the Prime Meridian is associated with New Year's Day and Baby New Year.

Although the Equator is an imaginary line rather than an actual physical location, the tropical island where Centaur Claus' workshop is located is often referred to as "The Equator". Kiff and Barry make light of this when they are sent through a portal to the Equator in "Kiff and Barry Save Halfway There Day"; after finding themselves on the island, they question how they ended up in a specific place despite the Equator being a line circling the planet.
