The Prime Meridian is a location in the series Kiff. It is the line dividing Earth into the Eastern and Western hemispheres.

Background

The Prime Meridian is an imaginary line located at 0 degrees longitude which divides Earth into the Eastern and Western hemispheres, similarly to its real-life equivalent.

It is associated with New Year's Day and its patron Baby New Year, much like the Equator is associated with Halfway There Day and Centaur Claus.

Although the Prime Meridian is an imaginary line rather than an actual physical location, the mountain where Baby New Year's mansion is located is often referred to as "The Prime Meridian". The snowy mountain contrasts Centaur Claus' tropical island on the Equator.
