Gareth, "Life on the Inside"

Gareth is a recurring character in the series Kiff. He is one of Kiff Chatterley and Barry Buns' classmates at Table Town Middle School.

Gareth is a student at Table Town Middle School, where he attends Miss Deer Teacher's class with Kiff Chatterley and Barry Buns.

Appearance

Gareth is a hyrax with gray fur. He is typically seen with a scowl on his face, and for clothing, his regular attire is a black shirt with the word "Bands" written on it in orange.

Personality

Gareth is one of the less prominent students in Miss Deer Teacher's class, making mostly minor appearances in group scenes with his schoolmates. Aside from brief speaking parts in "Nicknames" and "Souvenir Money", Gareth makes his only major appearance to date in "Life on the Inside", where he is revealed to be among a group of students known as Table Town Middle School's "baddest of apples", who frequently report to detention. In the episode, he is sent to detention for having "gleeked" on his teacher Miss Minty, though he claims to have done so accidentally.

Gareth has been shown to be musically talented. In "The Sound of Helen", he performs background music for his class' musical My Fair Helen and is seen playing various instruments, including the keyboard, the xylophone, and drums. In "Lore of the Ring Light", he is seen playing the recorder for the school talent show.

Relationships

Kiff Chatterley and Barry Buns

In "Life on the Inside", Kiff and Barry end up in the same detention room as Gareth and his fellow detention regulars Amira, L.E., Mav, and Rosso. Despite facing some initial hostility from them, Kiff eventually convinces them to escape detention with her and Barry, and in the process, she inspires them to start taking their studies more seriously.
