Lighthouse Keeper, "Lights Out"

The lighthouse keeper is a minor character in the series Kiff. He is the keeper of the Pantry Point Lighthouse.

Profile

The lighthouse keeper is the keeper of the Pantry Point Lighthouse, a lighthouse in Table Town that is also the city's center of electricity, and which is rarely visited due to its remote location. His real name is never specified, and he even signs one of his own drawings as "Lighthouse Keeper".

In "Lights Out", Kiff and Barry visit the keeper as part of a school assignment to thank an essential Table Town worker, but their kind gesture inadvertently upsets him by making him realize that the two are the only guests he has had in years. Feeling unappreciated by Table Town, he cuts off the city's power supply. However, when Kiff and Barry later compose a song for him and bring a crowd of Tabletonians to the lighthouse to sing it for him, the keeper is reminded that he actually hates having company, which is why he took the job in the first place. Not wanting to lose his job, he restores the power supply and sends everyone away again.
